Journalism 101 - a free course for dropouts

So I get asked a lot about the bloggers I diss all the time. So let me take this opportunity to address this in a logical, clear, and concise manner.

Prologue:
1st - since I started a blog in 2006, I've seen soooooo many come and go. I have even battled with some. At 1 point in 2008 the header to this site had gravestones for 10 different blogs/bloggers I have exposed for being nothing but a front for stolen content and fake journalism. 


2nd - being a internet/ techy nerd / dj .....I've been up on digital music since before all these new djs and bloggers have had pubic hair.  I know where to go for stolen music, I know the sources for lots of "blogger material", I know about torrents and fourms and other non public places to go for things.......I know more than I care to admit about the who blogosphere and how it works. 


3rd - being a actual real life dj  ( means BEFORE COMPUTERS and when we used to dj for paper money, not bar tabs and bottles) I know just a little bit about the industry.  I will not use this article to Elliott Wilson myself. Anything you want to know about my credentials i will gladly answer anytime, anyplace. I wont get goons after you for asking questions. LOL


And lastly, any personal insult or blog I pick on is only done because i need actual examples of what I'm saying and most importantly those blogs HAVE ignored and dodged any question of mine. In some cases these bloggers have actually dissed me for questioning them or gotten other people after me because they don't want me saying what I say. Its easier to call me crazy and a delusional obsessed hater....then actually realize I gain nothing from this except TEACHING people about smoke and mirrors that surround us everyday.........I'm getting my DATELINE on. Ha!

I noticed something in the blogsphere and my Tech-signal shined. I debated writing this, but figured when I get beat up by bloggers, this will serve as evidence to my points. LOL

A few days ago I was on one of my favorite sites and noticed a post. SEE HERE  Later that day I saw retweets of a similar article on my favorite site to pick on....iblog126.com.   (here is THE ACTUAL POST) I thought nothing of it even though my "house" instincts told me otherwise. The next day I visit the #1 Miami Blogsite - www.the305.com and I see THIS POST.

Many of you will look at the 3 posts and not see a difference or you may not even care. But in the world of journalism there is a huge injustice going on.

Why does the REAL #1 site in Miami not have a problem with citing sources?????

See, at the bottom of your article or post, you should cite your SOURCES!!!!! That's basic journalism because if you don't cite your sources, its plagiarism.  And in blogger etiquette its only respectful to cite your sources and provide a link to them.

What is the reason someone would go to a site, re word the body of a article and post it on theirs and purposefully NOT include your source?

Wait....... Prima just wanted a reason to post picks of sexy chicks.......it wasn't even to inform you of the information she stole from complex to make you think she is DOING SOMETHING.

This happens more often then not on sites like iblog126.com. Any blogger that is who they say they are should have no problem citing sources for things. Look at all of Primas' postings, she wants to make sure whatever persons' she is talking about has their twitter address linked in the article so she can get credit for the traffic and article. But alas, no such dedication in this article. It almost seems as if Prima was home and actually thought about something good and original to do all by herself........

What sucks even more is that The305 doesn't claim to be #1, and they ARE!  You can track down and meet the owner of the site and he will shoot straight with you. Not to mention that guy does more original work by himself then the whole iblog team. I cant count how many time a national blog has linked a www.the305.com post.......however......I KNOW of NO national blog has ever picked up a iblog post, nor has anything MIAMI related been WORLD PREMIERED on iblog.......ask yourself, why is that????????  

DISCLAIMER:  this is not meant to pick on prima.....yeah it is.....but its not just about her. THIS happens with sooo many blogs everyday!!!!!!!!! This is just one of their tricks into making you people at home keep clicking and supporting "fake work".

LOOK AT THE #1 HIP HOP BLOG www.Rapradar.com - THEY CITES SOURCES EVERYDAY, EVERYPOST!
